A Visit to Geneva's Rialto II
On Saturday, January 10, members of the Theatre Committee traveled to Geneva, NE for a tour of the Rialto II Theatre. Geneva operates its theatre very similarly to how we hope to operate the West Point Community Theatre. It was very helpful to see the behind the scenes work that goes into running a movie theatre. We thank everyone at the Rialto II who most generously opened their doors to us.
As one can see, Geneva's theatre building is very beautiful and well kept. I think our minds were spinning with possibilities after seeing such a wonderful space!

The seating capacity of Geneva's theatre is roughly 350. The large balcony contains almost as many seats as the main floor. West Point's theatre will hold about 220. 
One of the most interesting parts of the trip was seeing the projector in action. Once again, thanks to all the folks at the Rialto II for their hospitality and assistance. Being able to see and experience a similar theatre has been a great help to us!
